Founded by Director Sydney R. Daniels. Professor of Speech and Theatre, The Loop Players has explored every theatrical genre, every movement, every style. II has embraced theatrical aspirants and devotees of every age, race and ethnic background. The loop Players promoted color—blind casting before it was politically correct, it has trained and nurtured performers and technicians, educated audiences and introduced two generations of Chicagoans to the magic and the possibilities of live theatre.
